I read the two star review and purchased this little book anyway. I'm glad I did, I learned a lot. I think this is a valuable little book with information I have not found other places. I research nutrition a lot for myself as well as my pets and yet I still learned quite a bit about what to look for regarding dog food manufacturing processes ( I thought I knew all that.) I will probably save a bit of money from this information as I have been buying very expensive dog food thinking I was doing the right thing for my pets. I plan to reread it and thoroughly "digest" all this information, but I feel it was a very well spent $2.99.Product details

A great primer on raw dog food for those of us who grew up thinking dog food came in a bag!
kind of basic...
I felt like it was a lot of money for what is, in a way, an advertisement for his other books. He is very knowledgeable but save your $3.00 and just buy one of his full length books if you want to learn from him. In this "booklet" you will just get tidbits of information. That said, he does offer good advise and knows his subject.
The last 3 months I have been feeding my dog raw and home cooked meals after a serious acute pancreatitis attack and surgery to remove his gallbladder. I highly recommend feeding your dog home cooked meals! This book has a lot of good information my dog is thriving now and so much healthier!
