Who impregnated Julie? What was the point of the ex postal worker? Why did his place of work shut down? There seemed to be a hundred and one pointless, go nowhere, plot lines. Still, the book (and the series) was generally entertaining. I just felt that the author was wandering around trying to figure out where the story was leading to. Honestly, the entire series needs to be re-written. I for one do not believe for a second that the "mother chapter" and 'ol Skip were capable of the level of deception needed to bring us to the end of the third book. It's almost like the author was expecting a pizza to be delivered any minute and decided to end the book asap before it arrived. But, I will admit, if a fourth book is written I'd buy it.Product details

The Libertines Motorcycle Club Resolution edition by Max L Billington Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
What a story. This book had me turning pages as fast I could get them turned. I can't wait to get my hands on book 4.
Great Series!!!! I'm sorry to see it end!!!!!
great read
The story could have been quite good if not for the very poor writing style. I would love to see an editor work on this...it would be some time before it was ready for publication.
I did actually read all three, hoping that the writing would improve by the third book..it didn't. Poor grammar, punctuation, excess verbiage, strange word choice, etc. detracted from the story, making continuing actually painful at times. One passage I found quite excruciating read '...to hit the garage door opener button which caused the garage door to slowly open {REALLY?????!!!!???...what a shocker}, revealing Julie's car parked in the garage, denoting that she was home {REALLY???...being a fairly intelligent adult I had figured that out}. I got tired of seeing 'based off'...don't most people say 'based on'...lol.
I would not recommend these books (
Good read. The grammar left something to be desired, but hey, I was more in to it for the story more than an English lesson.
Worst part was that the trilogy ended a little too abruptly, almost like the author just wanted to wrap it up.
I read all three and they kept me entertained. I would read another book written by the author.
Was worth $6...Thank you, Max )
A curious read. The book spends a lot of time trying to build a plot that never really takes off and goes to a "surprise" ending that feels like it was written as an after thought for shock value. It doesn't follow and it doesn't make sense. Characters come and go -- many don't add anything to the story except some some kind of stereotypical biker color or gratuitous sex. I admire anyone who take the time and makes the effort to tell a story. This one just isn't very good.
I read this book out of series-order, so it took me a while to catch on to the history. It appears that (author) Max Billington had experience in "the life", as he tells the story of a "fly on the wall" of an outlaw MC club with authority. Great insider information on how these guys operate. Not going to win any Pulitzer Prizes, but a real down and dirty story nontheless. I was expecting a mystery story, and there really was not one to be had in this book ... but it held my attention until the (surprising) ending.
